Sunday might quite possibly have been, our best day ever.
The amazingly talented (and patient) Jools let us take over her (beautiful) house at Freshwater, in Sydney’s northern beaches for our Summer 2015 photo shoot. The perfect setting for our brunch styled campaign.
  
We managed to sweet talk a group of friends into modelling for the shoot. The promise of salmon gravlax and Bloody Marys probably helped to do the trick. (You can check out our menu here)
  
Watching Jools at work is pretty inspiring. Nothing’s too big a challenge and she’s always prepared to go that extra step. Capturing beauty in the simplest of locations.Â
The day went so smoothly. We had just the right amount of overcast light, there was not a skerrick of gravlax left (such a shame) and the conversation flowed freely. Â
  
The tunes were flowing too. Listening to artists like The Lumineers and Ray LaMontagne were perfect for brunch.  You can listen to some of our playlist on Spotify
And just when we thought we were done Jools bundled us all up in the car for a quick trip to Curl Curl so we could shoot the beautiful Linda at the beach.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thank you to all our (gorgeous/hot) models, Christina Cleary (www.christinacleary.com.au) who was like a ninja make-up artist, Vic’s mum Lizzie for feeding us (well) and Jools. An absolute rock star.
Oh and special mention to her (even more patient) husband who arrived home from an international business trip that morning to a house full of people and shirts!
